The bunny.net WordPress plugin error: CDN acceleration is not enabled

If you're encountering the error message indicating that CDN acceleration cannot be detected on your website, despite having configured the Bunny WordPress Plugin for CDN acceleration, this guide is intended to help you resolve the issue.

Causes

This issue typically occurs under two circumstances:

  1. CDN acceleration not properly configured. The plugin fails to detect CDN acceleration because Bunny DNS settings, including CDN acceleration for the record pointing to your website, might not be correctly established or recognized.
  2. Content offloader feature misconfiguration. When using the Content Offloader feature without proper CDN acceleration, the plugin might not be able to serve images correctly, leading to broken images on your site.

Solutions

Option 1: Re-establish Bunny DNS and CDN Settings

Option 2: Move Images Back to WordPress Server
